VAT on Waste

The Irish Government in its latest attack on the decent people of Ireland is to introduce a VAT charge on waste collection and disposal in Ireland.

If any of these Fattie Ministers ever bothered to step out of their chauffeur driven cars they would see that the countryside is already covered in tones of waste that has been dumped by people who in most cases simply cant afford to pay the present waste charges.

The Irish Government has become totally detached from the realities of the country they live in. Even Green Party, Enviroment Minister, John Gormley, jumps into a chauffeur driven car to go to the local radio station to do an interview about the Poolbeg incinerator.

Even Gormley, 'Mr get on your bike', has become poisoned by the Fatty administration of which he is now a part. Gormley has been bought by the lure of big business and comfortable leather seats.

Mr Gormley's mealy mouthed words about the Poolbeg incinerator that has been described as the chimney from hell, hold no sway with the people and generations who will suffer its consequences. One thing is for sure Gormley wont be choked by its fumes in his chaffeur driven luxuary.

Our country is quickly becoming the Skip of Europe. Councils only seem to have money to clean up when the latest bit of some motorway or other is having its ribbon cut by the Mercedes S Series brigade.

VAT on waste collection and disposal will see Ireland become known world wide as the Skip of Europe. The only time the Irish people will get Value in relation to waste disposal is when this Fianna Failure administration and its decaying green fig leaf are finally in the compost heap of political history.
