Oireachtas Health Committee to Consider Health Bill 2010 with Minister Harney

Minister for Health and Children, Mary Harney, TD will attend a meeting of tomorrow’s (24th) Select Committee on Health to allow Committee members to consider the Health (Miscellaneous) Bill 2010.

The Bill provides for the dissolution of board of St Luke’s Hospital, Rathgar and the transfer of its employees, assets and liabilities to the HSE.

The Bill also proposes to discontinue the Infectious Disease Maintenance Allowance, amendments to the Medical Practitioners Act and for amendments to the Nursing Homes Support Scheme Act 2009.
The meeting will take place at 12:45 pm in Committee Room 4.
