Minister Gets Light Roasting from Irish Observer
The Minister for Arts, Sports and Tourism, Mary Hanifin, got a warm welcome when she attended the 35th Anniversary of the Moynalty Steam Threshing and Working Show in Kells, County Meath, today Sunday 8th August 2010.
However, while the Minister enjoyed a warm welcome under a blue sky on a warm summers day, she also got a light roasting from the Irish Observer, who asked the Minister openly and honestly how she believed that Fianna Fail were handling the economy. The Minister who initially glanced towards the ground and who appeared to be indicating where the economy and Fianna Fail were going, raised her head and robustly defended Fianna Fail's handling of the economy. The Minister admitted that mistakes had been made but Fianna Fail were doing everything in their power to get the country back on its feet.
Above the Irish Observer brings you exclusive pictures of a lightly roasted Minister and a well cooked pig.
