Dear Diary
Yesterday that nonsense about me being drunk on Morning Ireland continued….there is a clear distinction between being drunk and being hung-over…….that Irish Times with it’s headlines about Gargle-Gate…….dangerous paper…….Gilmore with his talk about “Buccaneer capitalism” and “how unfair our society has become”……what would he do to help our country to recovery……with his workers rights genre……if we don’t take money off the workers….who will pay for our conferencing and entertainment budget……NAMA a bail-out for bankers and speculators….that is just not true……is it Diary?
And Michael Martin telling that Ivan Yates that he would like to be Taoiseach…….over my cold dead body…….I will be about for a long time to come….that Vincent Browne talking about…..“momentous consequence”…..and him selling his house to pay his bills…….glass houses and stones I think…….I don’t care what they say Diary….I am a successful and powerful politician well able to stand on my own two feet…….Mary can I have clean socks?........Yes Diary I am the man I am as O’Donoghue would say….another idiot……
So what if we spent 34 million on Banking advice…….good advice costs money……and all that fuss about FAS…..that reminds me Diary…..send Christmas card to Roddy……no scratch that…..we will be there for Christmas dinner…..he better have good whiskey after that golden hand-shake I organised for him…..Well at least we got that 13 million from Brussels for the flooding last winter….might be able to slip a few Euro into the auld conferencing fund……I am not too happy about that investigation into the relationship between FAS and SIPTU….too close to home….
Well lets hope today is a better day…..can’t be any worse…..feakin George Hook talking about the few squibs that we spent on Monday night……the Tax Payer owes us much more than an auld night out…….Mary did you get my socks? Labour think-in more like the Boston Tea party……
