Gerry Adams to run in Louth - a moral barrometer for people of Louth -
This move by Gerry Adams and Sinn Fein is a move of desperation as Sinn Fein's vote in the Republic has been eroding over recent years, leading Sinn Fein members such as Christy Burke has been resigning from Sinn Fein in significant numbers in recent years.
The people of Louth are now to be asked to forget the fact that Gerry Adams knowingly helped a child molester to move into their community, Sinn Fein members in Dundalk are being asked to forget that their own children were exposed to a child rapist as Gerry Adams had rubber stamped that child rapist's position in their organisation in Dundalk.
The fact that Sinn Fein are putting forward a high profile pensioner for the Louth position shows that they have no long term strategy for their electoral position in the Republic, they are hoping that they can hold the seat in Louth and after that the majority of the Sinn Fein leadership including Adams, Mc Guinness, O'Caolan, Ferris will be retiring. Its really about grumpy old men holding on to power before they are pushed aside as were the Stickey leadership before them.
