Celtic Scottish Cup Final
Aberdeen 0 Celtic 4: Charlie Mulgrew sent Celtic on their way to next month's Scottish Cup final with the opening goal as they hammered his former team Aberdeen 4-0 at Hampden Park.
The Dons paid the price for defender Andrew Considine's early red card as they slipped to a heavy defeat.
Jamie Langfield saved Anthony Stokes' penalty after Considine had been sent off for bringing down Gary Hooper but the Aberdeen goalkeeper was beaten by Mulgrew's curling free-kick delivery just after the break.
Joe Ledley, Kris Commons, from the spot, and Shaun Maloney took Celtic's tally for the season against Aberdeen to 21 as they set up a May 21 final against Motherwell.
Elsewhere Hamilton boosted their slim survival prospects as James Chambers' ninth-minute strike and a Liam Miller own goal earned a 2-1 victory over Hibernian at Easter Road in the Scottish Premier League.
Nigel Hasselbaink laid on the opener and missed a simple tap-in before Akpo Sodje's clearing header ricocheted in off Miller as Hamilton reduced their deficit at the foot of the table to nine points with five matches remaining.
Sodje made amends by slotting in after 66 minutes but Hibs slumped to just a second loss in 10 games.
