Man raped Man charges

A man has been charged with a number of serious sexual offences on a Belfast man over a seven month period, including an alleged rape.
 

The 25-year-old was arrested in London on Tuesday by officers from the PSNI Rape Crime Unit and brought to Belfast for questioning.

On Wednesday, police charged the suspect with a number of serious sexual offences in the greater Belfast area - alleged to have happened between January and July this year.


It understood this includes the alleged rape of the victim, although neither the specific location of the incidents, nor the victim's age have been released by police.

The accused is due to appear at Belfast Magistrates Court on Thursday.
