Sinn Fein Paul Donnelly by-Election


Paul Donnelly has been selected by Sinn Fein as their candidate to contest the seat left vacant by the death of Brain Lenihan TD. The by-election is expected to be a tight contest with Fianna Fail expected to poll badly as the party continues to crumble. In the aftermath of another Fianna Fail defeat and their grouping unable to field a candidate for Irish President it is expected that there will be a leadership challenge among the remaining vagabonds.
