Traffic has been disrupted in Dublin city centre after a pedestrian was hit by a truck on the south quays this morning. Gardai and the fire service quickly reacted to the incident and traffic disruption is being kept to a minimum with Gardai at point duty directing traffic.
The incident happened on Aston Quay at about 10am.
The pedestrian's condition is not yet known.
Traffic is blocked and a diversionary route is in place.
Motorists have been advised to avoid the area.
