Dear Ombudsman

Due to the urgency of this matter, I am seeking immediate remedy. The matter complained of has been submitted to my Solicitor in order to issue High Court proceedings.

I am requesting that your office, seek to have removed, part of a speech, made by the newly appointed, Press Ombudsman, Susan McKay, made to The Trauma Recovery Network Conference in 2010 and which was published in a number of media outlets and remains published on the Internet, and which has just been brought to my attention for the first time, when I had Liked a news item on social media announcing the appointment of a new Press Ombudsman. I like all posts relating to job creation or career opportunity.

The portion of the speech of which I complain, is clearly in breach of Principle 1 of the Press Code, Truth and Accuracy and Principle 5 of the Press Code, Distinguishing Fact and Comment.

The portion of the speech to which I refer, relates to comments about my conviction in 2000 for alleged indecent/sexual assault, alleged to have occurred in Monaghan Town while I was a serving member of Sinn Fein/Provisional IRA, including a time when I was sharing a flat at Dublin Street, Monaghan Town with Caoimhghín Ó Caoláin TD.

“Think of Sorcha McKenna, who also bravely gave up her anonymity. Her father, Vincent, was a republican who changed sides to become the darling of unionism. He too claimed he was persecuted by the authorities and on the run from the IRA - in reality he was a fantasist and a child abuser. Unionist politicians who had lionised him were silent when his daughter exposed him” (see, Link 1 below).

Firstly, Susan McKay did not attend the ‘trial’, DPP v Vincent McKenna 2000, and yet she presented herself on several platforms as an expert on that ‘trial’, and I assume that she received payment for her expert knowledge in the print media and other. Very similar to that woman in America who claimed to be an expert on 9/11 as she had been in the twin towers when they were bombed, it later transpired that not only was she not in the twin towers, she was not even in America on 9/11, yet she was welcomed onto the national airways, wrote a book and made a great deal of money from her fraud and deception (see, Link 2 Below).

In Susan McKay’s speech she states that I was a ‘republican’ that changed sides, in fact, I was someone, who saved many lives, including the Leadership of Sinn Fein/Provisional IRA in Belfast (this can be confirmed with Gerry Adams), although I do not consider, as she does, Sinn Fein/PIRA as ‘republicans’, they are common criminals, who murder and rape children and continue to claim that those crimes against humanity are “Justified” (see, Exhibit 1).

Susan McKay states in her speech, “Unionist politicians who had lionised” the only politician I was working with was John Hume MEP (see, Exhibit 2), Ms McKay appears to have over looked that very obvious fact for very political reasons. I shared platforms with many people, as has Ms McKay.

In her speech she states, “He claimed that he was persecuted by the authorities”, when in fact, it had at the time of Ms McKay’s speech (2010) been proven beyond all reasonable doubt that the Garda Officer in charge of the case, DPP v Vincent McKenna, had perjured himself and perverted the course of justice. That even the Minister for Justice, John O’Donoghue TD had perverted the course of justice (see, Exhibits 3). O’Donoghue trying desperately to bury the truth about the Omagh bomb, it would not be until 2003, after initially lying to the Dail in 2002, that Bertie Ahern would finally admit that the Irish Government had prior knowledge of the Omagh Bombers.

In her speech she states, “In reality he was a fantasist”, I am genuinely not certain, which aspect of my life she claims I was a fantasist, in fact from the age of 16-years-old until the present day, I have had a single focus, and that single focus, has saved many lives.

Surely, if someone claims to be an expert on a criminal ‘trial’, as Ms McKay does, that they never attended, that is the true definition of a “Fantasist”. In fact, if someone receives payment for articles in which they claim to be an expert on a criminal trial that they never attended, that could in law be viewed as fraud and deception.

She said in her speech, “he said he was on the run from the IRA”, Ms McKay knew very well, that the Provisional IRA issued a death threat against me when I gave my interview to The Sunday Times in March 1998, explaining how we in Sinn Fein/PIRA had pursued a Campaign of Ethnic Cleansing against the Protestant community in Northern Ireland, she knew very well that on the 18 July 1998, I was attacked by six members of Sinn Fein/PIRA, one of whom pleaded guilty to assault in court, with threat to kill left on the books.

Following the assault on me 18 July, 1998, Gerry Adams ordered that those six Sinn Fein/PIRA members who had viciously attacked me be suspended from Sinn Fein/PIRA.

During this period, it was established by the Sinn Fein/PIRA Leadership, that three members of Sinn Fein/PIRA had issued press statements directed at me. The three Sinn Fein/PIRA members who had issued press statements about me where, Dennis Donaldson (Child Rapist – Informer), Liam Adams (Child Rapist – Informer) and Owen Smyth, Monaghan Town, who was the first RUC Super-grass in 1981, who had, upon threat being made, retracted his statements, as had Eamon Collins and other informers.

“Child Abuser”

In 2022, the case of DPP v Vincent McKenna is returning to The Court of Criminal Appeal, and has only been delayed due to Covid 19.

Finally, Ms McKay states, “and a child abuser”. However, the basic facts are as follows, no matter how much anyone wants to twist those facts for their own malicious and vexatious campaign of harassment.

Following my sentencing on the 21 November 2000 at Cavan Circuit Court, Ms McKay claimed to have interviewed the key prosecution witness, who was not the complainant, but her mother, Fiona McCleary.

Fiona McCleary was the key prosecution witness as she offered the only piece of ‘corroborating evidence’ at ‘trial’. The ‘corroborating evidence’ offered was that on the 8^th July 1990, I had allegedly apologised to the complainant for sexual abuse after she had disclosed to her mother for the first time.

At ‘trial’, which Ms McKay did not attend, Michael O’Higgins SC, asked Fiona McCleary the following:

“Your husband will tell the court that on the 6 July 1990, he had, at your insistence, smacked the complainant after she had again been caught stealing and telling lies about that stealing, and that his apology was in relation to the slapping incident, so I am going to ask you to clarify, was there ever an apology for a slapping incident?”

Fiona McCleary, “No, absolutely not, there was one apology and one apology only and that was for sexual abuse”.

However, in Ms McKay’s interview with Fiona McCleary following sentence 21 November, 2000, Ms McKay stated that Fiona McCleary told her that the apology related to a slapping incident. This interview had been raised at my original Appeal, however, my ex-wife said that Ms McKay was a liar, and she never said anything about a slapping incident and apology to Ms McKay, in fact she suggested that no such interview took place.

If it is the case that my ex-wife never said this to Ms McKay, it raises the question? Where did Ms McKay get that information, as this information had only been disclosed during the trial, a trial Ms McKay did not attend. So, either my ex-wife is a liar or Ms McKay plagiarised that very specific information from another source.

High Court Judge Mella Carroll; “This case (DPP v Vincent McKenna) was difficult enough for everyone involved, without Journalists manufacturing lies around the case, Susan McKay, certainly manufactured the depraved lie about Porn and FAIT, this is worthy of Contempt proceedings”

Finally, without getting into the detail of my fresh Appeal against conviction, I would say the following and Ms McKay certainly cannot be faulted for her lack of knowledge in relation to this matter.

The complainant had been drugged with an unlicensed mind-altering drug known as Seroxat, this is on the transcript, before she made any complaint against me. In fact, following her initial statement to An Garda Siochana 8 January, 1999, being rejected by The DPP, corrupt Garda Inspector, Joseph Sullivan, asked the complainant to return to the Garda station 28 January 1999 and change her statement materially. In this second statement, the complainant admits that she manipulated a psychiatrist so that she could continue to get Seroxat (in 2000, the manufacturers of Seroxat were denying that it was addictive).

The drug had been feed to the complainant by Dr Marian Smyth, who had a child to one of her patients, Sinn Fein/Provisional IRA protected paedophile and serial killer, Michael ‘Pete’ Ryan. Upon complaint being made to The Medical Council by me, Dr Smyth admitted that Michael ‘Pete’ Ryan was the father of one of her children.

In 2000, at trial, which Ms McKay did not attend, I honestly could not understand much of what the complainant was alleging, she described matters that were medically impossible, all of this on the transcript.

When my legal representatives investigated Seroxat in preparation for trial, it was simply being described as an anti-depressant, without side-effects. However, following a $3 Billion lawsuit some years later, the manufacturers would admit that Seroxat has devastating side-effects and is addictive.

The side-effects of Seroxat include Hallucinations, false memories and so forth, for example, the complainant (19-years-old at Trial) told the court, an incredible story, about a fire, flames and so forth, on this occasion, she said she went to her mother in the bathroom and told her that I had just abused her. In the witness box, the complainant admitted that this may have been a false memory, her mother told the court, it was untrue, it never happened.

Seroxat and its side-effects which include suicide and murder can last a life-time, one man, who had stopped taking Seroxat without Clinical supervision, as had the complainant in DPP v Vincent McKenna, murdered his entire family some years later.

Finally, the complainant presented a three-page statement to Gardai on 5 January 1999, this one-year after an initial complaint was lodged with the North Easter Health Board by Dr Marian Smyth. The complainant’s statement, while used to arrest me 12 January 1999, was later rejected by The DPP, as the statement was written in the present-tenths, and could not, as later sworn in court have been taken spontaneously by a member of An Garda Siochana. Garda corruption in Monaghan was still being denied, and would not be exposed until Garda Maurice McCabe broke ranks some years later.

My 20-hour detention in Monaghan was not recorded as was a statutory requirement at the time, and no notes were taken. My detention was managed from start to finish by Garda Special Branch, upon my release I was given the name and address of a Garda Special Branch Officer to whom I should send reports about various persons and groups I was in contact with in Belfast at that time. A request I refused.

When I returned to Belfast, I showed the piece of paper with the Special Branch Officers name and address to journalist, Nell McCafferty (Who is well known to Ms McKay), Nell phoned the Garda Special Branch Officer and he admitted that he had given me his details to provide reports.

It would be the good works of Garda Maurice McCabe that would finally expose the corruption within An Garda Siochana in Monaghan/Cavan and Garda HQ, rather than what passes as ‘investigative journalism’.

As a general observation about Ms McKay’s speech, I note that she used the name of Aine Tyrell, yet she failed to mention that Aine’s Rapist, Liam Adams was one of hundreds of Child Rapists protected by the Sinn Fein/Provisional IRA Leadership, including Gerry Adams Snr who was a prolific child rapist protected by his son Gerry Adams TD.

In fact, Gerry Adams Snr was one of the child rapists involved in Kincora, he went to Kincora initially with another well-known celebrity from the Lower Falls to lay carpet, and began raping little boys.

Surely Ms McKay’s speech was an opportunity, to warn the people present, and the public in general about the fact that Sinn Fein/PIRA have protected hundreds of child rapists, mainly within their ranks but not exclusively. Sinn Fein/PIRA have protected rapists from all walks of life, and then used those rapists as proxies, be that journalists, priests, GPs, and so forth.

For example, Fr Brendan Smyth, had raped children on the Ormeau Road in Belfast, when two families complained to Sinn Fein/PIRA, the two families were ordered out of the area and Fr Brendan Smyth was protected, as he was a messenger for Sinn Fein/PIRA with people in Dublin. Fr Brendan Smyth had raped upwards of 200 children according to official reports, but was protected by Sinn Fein/PIRA.

When Martin McGuinness was fully aware that Liam Adams was a child-rapist, Martin McGuinness gave Liam Adams political cover in County Louth by promoting Liam within Sinn Fein/PIRA and publicly opening the new Sinn Fein/PIRA office in Dundalk with Liam Adams (see, Exhibit 4). I am sure Ms McKay knows at this stage, Martin McGuinness was in fact recruited by MI6 in 1986, after Martin McGuinness was covertly recorded abusing a female child. Martin McGuinness actually admitted on TV that he was a child abuser, as he believed he was about to be called-out by a member of the audience, similar to Gerry Adams going on TV after he was outed for protecting his child rapist Father Gerry Adams Snr and Child Rapist brother Liam Adams.

Ms McKay knows, that when I press released the names of 41 Sinn Fein/PIRA members in 1998 (see, Exhibit 5), who had been put forward for Comfort Letters, I stated that 27 of them were Child Rapists (this was told to me by Joe Cahill) and not On-The-Run for Terrorist offences. Dennis Donaldson (another Sinn Fein/PIRA Pedophile) issued a press release stating that I was a liar, however, in 2014 Gerry Adams TD produced the exact same 27 names and gave them to An Garda Siochana, after Gerry Adams had once again been exposed for facilitating child-rapists.
