DCI John Caldwell of the PSNI identified Kevin Murray from CCTV footage. DCI John Caldwell would be shot and seriously wounded 22 February, 2023 in Omagh by The New IRA.

DCI Caldwell, by clearly identifying the link between the New IRA and the Hutch Drug Gang exposed the New IRA as gangland criminals, an exposure they did not appreciate.

New IRA Charges

One of two New IRA members, Gavin Coyle, among the seven people charged 27/5/2023, with the attempted murder of PSNI Detective Chief Inspector, John Caldwell, had been on bail after pleading guilty to charges in connection with a separate murder bid on a Catholic police officer. Four other people were released with files being sent to the Public Prosecution Service.

Sinn Fein benefiting from proceeds of crime

Sinn Fein Chairman and Director of Provisional IRA Intelligence, Bobby Storey, was in 2014 directing members of Sinn Fein/PIRA in their meetings with members of the New IRA and Hutch Drug Gang, as the plan was hatched to murder Daniel Kinahan and take control of the drugs trade in Dublin.

These early meetings, including the role played by Bobby Storey, were known to An Garda Siochana. In 2014, Bobby Storey was closely associated with Mary Lou McDonald.

Bobby Story would secure weapons, namely AK47s, from the Provisional IRA, and sell them to the Hutch Drug Gang. New IRA member, Michael Barr would act as the middleman between Bobby Storey and the Hutch Drug Gang. Michael Barr would hand Bobby Storey £50,000 from Hutch Drug Gang in exchange for the weapons, Michael Barr would take possession of the weapons and hand them over to a member of the Hutch Drug Gang (Not Gerry Hutch).

Sinn Fein Councilor, Johnathan Dowdall and his father Patrick Dowdall, would book a room in The Regency Hotel to be used by New IRA gunman, Kevin Murray and Hutch Drug Gang member, Patrick Hutch. The pistols used by Patrick Hutch and Kevin Murray have not been recovered and are believed to have been brought to New IRA Strabane by New IRA gunman, Kevin Murray.

Following the murder of David Byrne at The Regency Hotel in 2016, Sinn Fein Councilor, Johnathan Dowdall would make contact with New IRA member, Shane Rowan and arrange for Gerry Hutch to sell the AK47s to the New IRA for £30,000, the market rate.

Shane Rowan collected the AK47s from Patsy Hutch at an industrial site in Dublin in 2016. Shane Rowan was driving back to deliver the AK47s to the New IRA leadership when he was intercepted at Slane in County Meath and the AK47s recovered from the boot of his car.

Kevin Murray died of natural causes in 2017, a court in Northern Ireland had ruled that he was not fit to stand trial for the murder of David Byrne and therefore the Court refused to extradite Kevin back to Dublin.

I have been asked if I have any knowledge of Sinn Fein/PIRA being involved with The Kinahan Drug Cartel and I will now set-out my knowledge in relation to that relationship.

While I was in prison, I was in the company of Sinn Fein/PIRA, Real IRA, Continuity IRA and so forth. I spoke with many individuals who were involved at various levels in the drugs trade. The two most important individuals that I met in relation to the Kinahan Cartel were Bomber Kavanagh and JM.

I am not stating JM's full name as he was very useful in providing key information about his relationship with Sinn Fein/Provisional IRA members in Columbia and FARC Narco-Terrorists.

While in prison JM had two houses seized by CAB, so he had made decent money from drug dealing at middle-management level for the Kinahans. JM was Blackrock Educated, a very nice person to talk to, and someone who clearly thought that he could make easy money from drug dealing.

While in Columbia working for the Kinahans JM found it difficult to communicate with FARC Narco Terrorists, as their native language is Spanish. JM was delighted when he meet fellow Irishmen who could speak Spanish. Initially, JM, did not know that the Spanish speaking Irishmen were in fact Sinn Fein/Provisional IRA members who were training FARC in Terrorist techniques such as the manufacturing of Mortars.

JM done a deal with the Spanish Speaking Irishmen, if they would act as intermediaries for the Kinahan Cartel, then Sinn Fein/PIRA would be paid a percentage when the drugs were sold in Ireland. Sinn Fein/Provisional IRA who were already on contract with FARC spoke with the Sinn Fein/PIRA Leadership in Ireland, and the arrangement was sanctioned.

Sinn Fein/PIRA developed strong links with the Kinahans in Columbia and Dublin, and eventually, Sinn Fein/PIRA were not only receiving a percentage of the drugs they negotiated, but also a percentage for laundering the Kinahans drug money through Sinn Fein/PIRA's sophisticated money laundering system in Ireland. Millions of Sinn Fein/Provisional IRA Drug Money was then moved through a Bureau De Change on the border which was operated by Ciaran Byrne.

As I was doing legal work for JM and Bomber Kavanagh, the information continued to flow about the relationship between Sinn Fein/PIRA, FARC and the Kinahan Cartel.

Many years later, I found myself, under supervision from senior Gardai, on the inside of that lucrative money laundering operation. I was by 2013, fully reinstated within Sinn Fein/PIRA and I was based in an office in central Dublin that was funded by Sinn Fein/PIRA.

Regency Hotel Attack

2014, I had, under supervision from senior Gardai, completed an investigation into a major money laundering operation in north Dublin. Those involved in this money laundering operation were Sinn Fein/PIRA, Real IRA, Hutch Drug Gang (later withdrew following tip-off from Corrupt Garda) and some old favourites from The Mahon Tribunal, no prize for guessing who.

As a spin-off from this money laundering investigation, other serious crimes were frustrated. This mainly, but not exclusively related to plans by some to carry out attacks on those involved in repossessing property, Judges, Courts, KPMG, Kieran Wallace and so forth. As the money laundering operation and other matters were concluding, it was by pure chance that I was in what was considered a secure space when some who would be key players in The Regency Hotel attack entered.

A short distance away from this secure space was O’Shea’s Bar at the bottom of Gardiner Street. It was in O’Shea’s that I would in 2013-15 have meetings with Head of Provisional IRA Intelligence and Chairman of Sinn Fein NI, Bobby Storey. Sinn Fein/PIRA were funding an office for me at this time to help develop their IT network. I asked Bobby if he was aware of the meetings taking place between Sinn Fein/PIRA personnel, New-IRA and Hutch Drug Gang, to which Bobby replied, “Yes”. I would part company with Bobby Storey later in 2015 when he admitted that he and the Sinn Fein/PIRA Leadership in Belfast had ordered the murder of Kevin McGuigan.

From this money laundering operation, money was used for a variety of purposes, Bobby Storey wanted some 'clean' money to be directed at a rising star in Sinn Fein/PIRA who was being tipped to replace Gerry Adams as President when the time was right. We lined up a number of trusted businessmen, we gave each of them 1500 Euro in cash, they then translated this 1500 'dirty money' into 1000 Euro publicly visible donations to that rising star.

In 2014 as these meetings were taking place to formulate a Plan to murder Daniel Kinahan, there were serious problems at Garda Headquarters. Then Garda Commissioner, Martin Callinan had dug himself and others into a deep conspiratorial hole, as he and others orchestrated a bizarre conspiracy against Garda Sgt Maurice McCabe who was a Garda Whistle-blower. Prior to this madness, Callinan was, to the best of my knowledge, a solid anti-terrorist officer.

I found myself in a very difficult position, I had clear information that a feud was about to erupt between The Hutch and Kinahan Gangs, however, those Gardai whom I had trusted for a long period, were no longer available.

I knew a Garda in another county, he was professional and trustworthy. I contacted this other Garda and told him that I needed a trusted contact in Dublin very quickly. He gave me the name of a Garda Det Sgt, I meet with the Garda Det Sgt, and I immediately realised that this was the wrong man for the job.

As I left the Garda station in a state of total disbelief and disappointment, I meet a card-carrying member of Fianna Fail (still alive in 2022) whom I had known through the building trade over many years. I confided in this individual that a feud was about to kick off and Gardai were so consumed with the collapse of their leadership and the campaign against Garda Sgt Maurice McCabe they appeared uninterested in the impending feud.

I reluctantly contacted a senior Garda who had now retired and told him about my situation, he gave me the name of a serving senior Garda. I made contact with this senior Garda and he said they would monitor the situation, I was not convinced, but what could I do. In 2018 this senior Garda would ask me to plant a computer hard-drive in a boat-shed that was allegedly owned by Garda Sgt Maurice McCabe’s father, I refused, shortly after my refusal my address was taken from Garda Pulse Computer system and given to The PIRA.

When Sinn Fein/PIRA checked my name against the address given, my name was not at that address on the Abu Date-base, and in order to double-check the address they had been given, a senior member of Sinn Fein/PIRA went into a Garda station to confirm my address. I do not believe that this individuals actions require explanation, he certainly did not believe he would face prosecution for conspiracy to murder.

How Journalists got the Story Wrong

Some journalists who have made their bread and butter from The Kinahan/Hutch Feud have stated in thousands of articles and even published books that the feud started with the murder of Gary Hutch in 2015, Gary Hutch was murdered in Marbella, Spain.

However, this is not correct, and the reason journalists got it so badly wrong was due to the fact, that many so-called experts were sitting in cosy offices not far away from a Garda Station and taking their lead on the feud from Gardai who were in the pay of The Hutch Gang and also being paid by lazy journalists. I had highlighted this corruption on New Year’s Eve 2013, when a Garda based in the same station, received a substantial payment from a journalist, relating to an on-going operation to arrest a dangerous rapist named John English who was on-the-run from Cork, and whom I helped capture.

The Plan to murder Daniel Kinahan began in 2014. The Kinahan Gang had moved over-seas, with only enforces and dealers left on the ground in Ireland. While Sinn Fein/PIRA have worked closely with the Kinahan Gang over decades, in Columbia and so forth, Sinn Fein/PIRA seen an opportunity to take control of the drugs trade in Dublin. The Hutch Gang would do the importing and distribution, the New IRA the muscle and Sinn Fein/PIRA taking care of money laundering and so forth.

The Plan to murder Daniel Kinahan would not be operationalised until 2016 at The Regency Hotel. All of the weapons used were Provisional IRA weapons, released to the New IRA. Those later identified as being involved in The Regency Hotel attack were members of Sinn Fein/PIRA, The New IRA and the Hutch Drug Gang. Some of these later murdered and some would face trial.

IRA member, Shane Rowan pleaded Guilty in 2016 to possession of the three assault rifles, including a Chinese Type 56, a Romanian PM63 and a Zastava M70, that were used in The Regency Hotel attack, this was a joint enterprise between, Sinn Fein/PIRA, New-IRA and Hutch Drug Gang.

Conclusion

Sinn Fein/PIRA including Bobby Storey were central to the Plan to murder Daniel Kinahan, yet the media have effectively removed Sinn Fein/PIRA from the equation, with headlines stating that Johnathan Dowdall is a ‘former’ Sinn Fein Councilor and therefore his actions are not related to Sinn Fein/PIRA. Johnathan Dowdall was at the time of planning the murder of Daniel Kinahan an active member of Sinn Fein/PIRA and regularly in the company of Mary Lou McDonald and other senior Sinn Fein/PIRA. If Daniel Kinahan had been murdered at The Regency Sinn Fein/PIRA would have shared equally in the bounty that would flow from the lucrative drugs trade in Dublin.

In 2011, Johnathan Dowdall gave Mary Lou McDonald £1000, by 2013 Johnathan Dowdall was referring to Mary Lou McDonald as "Snuggles". As late as 2015, when Johnathan Dowdall had already tortured an innocent man, telling that innocent man that he (Johnathan Dowdall) was a member of The IRA, Sinn Fein was stating publicly that Johnathan Dowdall would continue to work for the Party. At this time Johnathan Dowdall, while a Sinn Fein Councilor, was publicly sponsoring a Boxing Club in north Dublin that was being operated by Gerry Hutch.

Independent: 1 May, 2017, Mary Lou McDonald said of Johnathan Dowdall: "Jonathan is a very popular and respected member of his community and he will be missed in his elected role by me".

Was Johnathan Dowdall the Monkey or the Organ Grinder, if Dowdall was the Monkey, why the did Gerry Hutch, in the aftermath of The Regency attack, have to ask Dowdall to contact his (Dowdall’s) IRA contacts, surely Hutch would have had those contacts as Dowdall claimed he knew nothing about the Regency attack.

I believe that Dowdall with his IRA and Hutch Gang contacts was ‘The Roper and the Inside Man’ for Sinn Fein/Provisional IRA, Dowdall was the man who sowed the seed, that Daniel Kinahan could be taken-out and the triangulation of Sinn Fein/PIRA, New IRA and Hutch Drug Gang could take control of the Drugs trade in Dublin. I believe Bobby Storey was ‘The Fixer and Convincer’, the man who could secure the transfer of weapons from The PIRA to the New IRA for The Regency attack on Daniel Kinahan and offer the comfort of PIRA backing for a successful operation. Bobby Storey had showed what he could do, with the murder of Kevin McGuigan in Belfast in 2015.

The AK 47 assault rifles used in The Regency Hotel attack were Provisional IRA weapons released to The NewIRA, I do not know at this time if The PSNI have viewed the ballistics relating to The Regency Hotel weapons, to establish what PIRA operations they had been used in.

Upwards of 20 people have now been murdered in the Kinahan-Hutch Feud, the majority of media coverage has been based on a false narrative, that false narrative originating from corrupt Gardai who are now out of the force and some charged.

Many journalists and so-called experts have dug themselves into a hole, if they now tell the truth about the origins of the feud, they will look foolish. If they tell the truth about the central role of Sinn Fein/PIRA in the Kinahan Hutch/Feud they will be called Liars. I am not here to make friends with anyone, and so you now know the truth about the origins of the feud.

There is also a strong possibility that Daniel Kinahan does not want to face the fact that he was double-crossed by Sinn Fein/Provisional IRA. It is easier to murder a few soft targets rather than take on the guns of the PIRA.

New IRA member Michael Barr Murdered

David Hunter found guilty of killing ‘dissident’ republican at Sunset House pub in Dublin.

A car thief has been jailed for life by the non-jury Special Criminal Court for the murder of the Manager of the Sunset House pub in central Dublin by the Kinahan Cartel.

Liverpool native David Hunter (42), with an address at Du Cane Road, White City, London, had denied murdering Michael Barr (35) at the pub in Dublin’s north inner city on the night of April 25th, 2016.

Hunter is the second man to be found guilty of murdering Mr Barr, a dissident republican. Eamonn Cumberton (32), of Mountjoy Street, Dublin 7, was convicted of murdering the Tyrone native in January 2018.

The court found there was compelling evidence that Hunter was one of the two gunmen who entered the pub on Summerhill and shot Mr Barr.

In a victim-impact statement read by prosecution barrister Mr Dominic McGinn SC, Mr Barr’s former partner Jade O’Shea, who has a child with the deceased, said their six year-old daughter constantly asks for her father and that since the night he was killed their lives have been turned upside down.

Mr Barr’s sister Noeleen said in her statement that her brother was “brutally taken” from his five children and wider family.

‘Nightmare’

She said that after learning of Mr Barr’s death on social media she was “found in pieces” on the floor and described his death as a “nightmare” for the family and his children.

“How can you measure a life in drugs or money?” she asked.

She said the family had been through “mental torture” and described her brother as a talented sportsman, a family man and a gentleman.

Delivering sentence, Mr Justice Alexander Owens, presiding, sitting with Judge Gerard Griffin and Judge David McHugh, backdated Hunter’s life-sentence to April 2019, when he was first arrested on a European Arrest Warrant.

Speaking outside court, Det Supt Colm Murphy said that the shooting of Mr Barr was a “cold and callous” murder. He extended his sympathies to the Barr family and said that the garda investigation into the murder was ongoing.
